On 9th September, Global Order jointly organised a panel discussion in collaboration with 108 Peace Institute, on the theme - The Institution of the Dalai Lama: Spiritual Continuity and Political Contestations. The distinguished panel included - Ambassador (retd.) Shyam Saran, the former Foreign Secretary of India, and Dr. Lobsang Sangay, the former President of the Central Tibetan Administration. The discussion was moderated by Dr. Hindol Sengupta, Professor, O.P. Jindal Global University. The dialogue examined the dual role of the Dalai Lama as a spiritual leader and a figure of political significance in the Tibetan struggle.
